Role Overview
We're seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to join us at the Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health (AFRH). As an integral part of our organization, you'll contribute to our mission and vision by providing administrative support and ensuring smooth office operations.
Requirements
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ideally, a young female candidate (for gender balance).
0-1 year of experience in HR/Admin or related fields - fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Drive).
Tech-savvy with a knack for quick learning.
Strong multitasking ability, effective time management and prioritization skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Keen attention to detail(s).
Event management skill will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in the medical or social sciences
- Background in research is desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in both content and formatting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online submission and review platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
Desired Skills and Qualities
- Experience with manuscript editing and familiarity with scientific writing conventions.
- A good understanding of fertility and reproductive health topics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of editorial standards and best practices in scientific publishing.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and respond to changing priorities.
- Experience in Social Media management is an added advantage.
